I have taken the bold step of officially not caring anymore what the government, Wall Street, big banks, lobbyists, Republicans and Democrats do. I refuse to be engaged with any of it any longer because it doesn't matter one microscopic iota. I am no longer going to vote, an exercise in futility if ever there's been one. I used to think it was my duty as an American to vote proud and loud. No longer. It's validating corrupt politicians in a corrupt system. You vote one bad seed out, and another one takes his place. I'm done.

I've got a really excellent life, and I'm not wasting anymore of it howling at the political moon. I refuse to continue being an unwilling participant in my own demise. There's a real feeling of exasperation and anger when you get to this point, but the overall feeling is one of liberation. I'm walking away from the landscape of idiots until someone can prove to me with overwhelmingly strong evidence that things really have changed. I'm talking about change that we can actually believe in, that is as real as the continuing financial chaos we've been duped into paying for.

I do have hope, but not a whole lot of it. Maybe we have to sink so low that the growing and very real populist rage snowballing around the country will force change upon the scoundrels of the "same-old-same-old" guard. And so I refuse right here and now to continue beating my head against The Great Wall Street of Corruption. Maybe a viable third party with a meaningful populist conscience will spring up out of the dung heap of the other two. You never know, though it's extremely doubtful.

When your voice no longer counts, and it hasn't for a brutally long time, there's no reason to keep using it to no avail. We've all been shouted down by the greedy arrogance of those who were supposed to be guarding the hen house. But, they're all wolves in fine-tailored fat-cat suits with the best health insurance our money can buy, plus bank accounts and stock options to match. And, any politician who has the guts to make waves will soon become an untouchable outcast blacklisted by the ruling elite. There will be no more lobbyist money lining his pockets. I'm somewhat ashamed it's taken me all this time to finally reach the tipping point. But, I'm grateful that the dam has finally burst.

Now I'm going to do something that really matters: lift dumbbells, drink diet cola and watch sports.

Are you suppose to compare actual to budgetary? I would think that all you would have to do is prepare an income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows and provide formulas that will adjust with each transaction. For example if revenue increases so should retained earnings.

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. You are right. Hills food is crap. But Aldi food is just as crappy if not worse. And Crystals can be deadly to a cat so this isn't somethign to mess around with.

My biggest piece of advice is do NOT listen to your vet about diet with your cat. They don’t know anything about proper feline nutrition. Most never learned anything except what the cat food companies teach them when they sell them thier food. *roll eyes here*Any vet that would tell you to put your sick cat on a garbage food like Science Diet, Royal Canin, or Purina prescription clearly knows NOTHING about cats nutritional needs.

Cats were never designed to eat dry food. NEVER. They eat their prey whole and wet. Cats do not have a thirst mechanism. So because of all that… cats are designed to eat only wet food.

We idiot humans feed dry only for our connivance. Shows how much we know huh?

So because of all the above, we, by feeding dry, are usually the cause of all UTI issues in cats. *Sigh* They do not take in enough water on a dry diet and so their systems do not fully flush out so they get UTI issues.

What you need to do is unconcentrate the urine. To do that you need to stop feeding all dry foods and switch to an all wet diet. Either a canned diet or Raw. Did your vet recommend that? Wet food will help flush the system faster so that crystals and bacteria can not form.

Get your kitty on a STRICKTLY wet food diet. Either high quality canned, or a raw diet. It’s not cheap but it will cost you less in the long run than the vet.

No matter which you choose… no more dry food for your cat ever.

I’ve also had success using Glucosomine and Chrondriton for preventing inflammation in the urethra. Discuss this with your vet and ask them to look into it.

Give your kitty distilled water to drink only. Both my vet and I are convinced after speaking with vets all over the county that the hardness and mineral content in water in different areas contributes to the # of cases of UTI’s in those areas. From here on out… distilled water only.

Another suggestion… is to get kitty a water fountain. I bought the Bigdog Drinkwell for my cats and keep it filled with distilled water and they love it. It’s a great way to encourage their water consumption.

Lastly, get yourself a bag of scientific litter so you can keep track of kittys PH levels at home. You won’t be able to detect the crystals at home that cause blockages, but if the ph was off… you could get kitty in for a urine analysis right away and possibly head off a blockage.

Are you familiar with the book 'The Science of Getting Rich?' I just finished reading this book yet again, and I find myself almost haunted by the simplicity of its teachings. Yet, don't be fooled by the simplicity, the teachings in this book are very powerful and it literally provides the for attracting financial abundance into your life.

The Science of Getting Rich was originally published in 1910 and was written by Wallace Wattles. It's gained something of a rebirth in popularity over the past several years, particularly with the more recent popularity of the film The Secret. Every entrepreneur engaged in online marketing wants to have as many people to market their products or services to as possible. But with this desire can come the temptation to send email to those that haven't asked for it.

I, for example have a website with over 6500 email addresses on it. I have another unrelated new business that I want to start marketing for. Can I send those 6500 people an email for the new unrelated business? I wouldn't dare.

Sending email to this set of contacts is considered Spam because they did not opt-in to my new business, and sending them this unsolicited email can see my email server black listed by other email servers. Incidentally, it's widely agreed that the term Spam comes from the Monty Python film 'The Life of Brian' a film which sees prisoners continually fed Spam meat.

While the terms origins are somewhat humorous, the consequences of sending Spam are not. Email marketing is regulated in the United States by the 'Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing' act of 2003 (or the "CAN-SPAM Act"). And breaking this law can result in fines of up to $250 per infringement - not funny.

So what can we do to ensure that we don't fall foul of the CAN-SPAM act and maintain a good reputation?

Well one thing we can do is make sure that beside every opt in form we state that by opting in they are agreeing that we can send them communications about our products and services.

We can also assure them, in a line under the entry boxes that we will only use their information for these purposes.

We can ask them to 'Double opt-in'. This would see the customer enter their email address into a box and then they would be asked to confirm their opt-in by opening an automated email sent from us to them and clicking an activation link.

This has upsides and downsides. The upside is that people can't opt-in those they know without their knowledge. But the downside is that many people won't be bothered to follow your instructions and find your activation email.

SPAM is a very serious offense and the online marketing community would do well to take it seriously. So take care to make sure that the people you market to have requested your communications so that your journey to home business success goes unhindered.

Online jobs work from home is the dream way to make a living. A man named Joe Sugarman was the most famous of these people before the advent of the internet. He made millions as he says, "sitting at the kitchen table in my underwear". You can too. (You might want to close the blinds, though).

Why are we so afraid of even just the concept of making a good living (dare we say get rich) as we work from home?

Mostly it is the training we are given, the way society behaves and what we are taught from babyhood onwards. Don't believe me?

• Conventional wisdom tells us to use the correct spelling because if we don't spell corectly, we can't get our message across. The truth is that you dno't hvae to hvae any of the wdros slepelld clecrroty AS LNOG AS YOU HVAE THE FSIRT AND LSAT LRTTEES CCORRET!
• So much for the spelling myth! Could there be opportunities right in front of our noses that would allow us to work from home that we can't see? We see everything there is to see, don't we? Or do we?
• Ever been to someone's house for a bar-b-que or something and they ask you to go into the kitchen to get the salt shaker in a certain location? Try as you might, you can't see it even after several shouted descriptions and location suggestions. Someone has to come in and literally get the salt shaker from right in front of your nose. What can't you see right now that would let you work from home?
• Are there opportunities right now that are screaming at you and you can't see them?
• What about the tragic car wrecks where a survivor says that the other car "came out of nowhere"? It was there and visible only their minds were on something else.

Einstein once said,

"Problems cannot be solved by the same mind that created them."

How true this is. He could of just as easily have said, "Opportunities cannot be recognized by the same mind that overlooked them." It is also true for all of us that we actually see or acknowledge little of what is around us. Remember the salt shaker analogy and the example using the really bad spelling? Work from home opportunities abound.

The self-help gurus tell us to think big, that to think small will yield small results. The truth of the matter is that the greatest triumphs were always composed of little triumphs. Small successes add up to the "overnight success" that took 20 years of hard practice to get just right. Mr. Edison failed literally 10,000 times before making an incandescent light bulb that lasted more than a few hours.

What do you think would happen if you applied that much tenacity to build yourself a work from home business?

To dream big is great. To believe it will happen in one shot is possible, but foolhardy. The way to accomplish the wildest dream is to just start. That's it. Start.

Get going and get started and attack a small market or niche. Conquer it and move on.

I have some news for you. The best education you can get on the internet is FREE. You can get a massive education going through the free tutorials at places like Squidoo.com or Hubpages.com. Blogger.com offers great information also for free.

Interesting note: All of these places and many more will host your little website for free. How can they do this for free and why would they want to? I'm tempted to say go through all the tutorials and figure it out, but I won't. You want to start to work from home as soon as possible, right?

See all those little ads that are around this article? Those are called Google ads and they are money makers in the right circumstances. That is one way these places make their money. There are many others.

Passion, Motivation, Perseverance, and less than $60.00 ....these are the things needed to start your own business like mine. Serious though, you want to find a product/service that you can be excited about....that you will enjoy working! You want one that is desired by a major part of the population, not just a certain group of it. You want to do your homework. Contact people with the companies you are looking at. Talk with them, ask them lots of questions. When I have someone that is interested in our business, I will loan them one of the products to try, because you have to believe it what you are doing. Plus having the type of product that is in 90%+ of the homes in the U.S. doesn't hurt. (They are always looking for good people.)

Grant you, some businesses will take a lot more that this to get started (funds, inventory, etc.), but I can only talk about what I know. And what I am telling you is how I started my home business. And being your own boss is great!

Pre-selling is giving facts and information to whoever might be interested in that particular product or service and informing them of where to go to get what they are looking for. There are many different ways to go about doing this. One common way is to place small ads in free ad directories or bulletin boards.
