What color should I paint my bedroom walls?

I'm redoing my room and it's going to have a black carpet and white baseboards but I can't decide what color to paint the walls. I'm looking for something sexy/romantic. So far I'm deciding between red and purple. Let me know which you think would be better please. =)

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a purple like "clematis" (# 6831) might be a great choice for the wall color. Get a light purple or mauve for the bedding.
